Many people have for long complained about the traditional print classifieds adverts and Auto Classified magazines. The process of placing an advert is just too long, first you have to take a shower, smell nice and make sure you look presentable, then you walk there to the Newspaper offices or Classified magazine offices; past Newspaper Stalls, estate Agents, Small Businesses trying to make their way up, Dating couples, Touts, Bakery, Property owners, Storekeepers, Managers, Business opportunity takers and even Advertising/marketing Agencies. You walk into the office and stand in a long queue waiting for an employed receptionist to serve you, and you then pay $25 to place your advert be it Classified or featured Advert.
From there you will have to wait for, maybe three or so days for your advert to show up on the newspaper classified section, maybe you will not see it. That will make it necessary for you to repeat that trip to the reception. Creating a Job, or making you lose money on hiring an employee to handle that. And finally your advert appears on that classified section, 15 words, no picture, no website link, poor print, yeah you can live with it still. Now what do you posted a Rent a Flat in Bulawayo Advert and it appeared under Jobs in Zimbabwe section. You would be frustrated and pissed off, any advert can mistakenly land under Property in Zimbabwe, Auto Classified, Japan Used Cars, but not when it is sensitive. Imagine you are looking for a job, let’s say a job in Zimbabwe and your advert falls under Dating. That does not have to happen, and if it happens you need to have control over a posted advert at any stage of its lifetime, Shit happens, but it does not have to happen to you.
